DF: Unacceptable for circles close to SDA to try to revive the Laktaši agreement with Dodik between the Three and HDZ

(Patria) - The Democratic Front considers extra-institutional agreements and negotiations on amendments to the Election Law, which according to media reports are being led by informal political circles close to SDA and HDZ officials, completely unacceptable.

"The practice of extra-institutional talks based on the principle of people's agreement is particularly dangerous. It is an ignorance of parliamentary reality, which directly expresses the political will of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The attempt to revive the failed Laktaši agreement made by HDZ and the Three at Dodik's estate, now orchestrated by informal political circles close to SDA and HDZ, is a continuation of the Three's policy.

In terms of ideology, there is no difference between the agreement at the meeting held on January 18, 2024, in Laktaši, according to which the Three agreed to introduce a "floating third entity" in the election of members of the Presidency of BiH, and the more recent talks of informal political circles close to SDA with HDZ officials. It is an identical matrix that cannot bring anything good to the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens.

We call on SDA to declare itself, that is, to present its decisive stance regarding the negotiations between HDZ officials and informal political circles that have closely cooperated with SDA and led its policy, and still have credible influence on it today.

Just as it opposed the Three's concessions in Laktaši, the Democratic Front will also oppose the attempt to revive the failed agreements from Laktaši," stated the Democratic Front.
