(Patria) - In a normal environment, yesterday's visit and actions of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanović, to Tuzla would be called a political scandal, announced the KO DF Tuzla.
"In ours, we hope, it will at least leave a stain on the diplomatic CV of the first man of Croatia. Even the citizens of Croatia are surely not proud of the fact that Milanović 'bypassed' Tuzla's Kapija, the site of suffering of Tuzla's youth.
Thus, Milanović joined the list of the few who did not lay flowers and pay respects to the civilian, innocent victims of the aggressor. Perhaps someone like Mayor Zijad Lugavić should have told the President of Croatia that among the killed and wounded there were also Croats, whose interests and position in Bosnia and Herzegovina he today calls a matter of national security for Croatia.
So start from the point of not disturbing our security, Mr. Milanović, especially respecting the fact that the 115th Brigade of the Croatian Defence Council, whose anniversary you celebrated, was part of the Second Corps of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and that its surviving members pay respects to the victims at Kapija every May 25. It is not important to us whether you came to Tuzla with the intention of delivering some low political blow to the Croatian Democratic Union, what is important to us is that our guests respect all our victims, regardless of which people they belong to", the statement said.
