Parade of cultural and artistic societies in the center of Sarajevo adorned the celebration of April 6th

(Patria) - Cultural and artistic societies Baščaršija, Lola, and Proleter, recipients of the April 6th Award of the City of Sarajevo, held a ceremonial parade in Sarajevo from Baščaršija Square to the Eternal Flame.

The parade was organized on the occasion of Sarajevo City Day.

Performances were held at Sebilj, the Cathedral, and the Market.

They adorned this day with traditional costumes and dances, and citizens and tourists watched them with enthusiasm.

Let us remind you, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo, is celebrating City Day today. On this day in 1941, Sarajevo was bombed for the first time, on the same day in 1945, Yugoslav partisan units liberated it from the fascist occupier, and on April 6, 1992, the siege of the city began.
