Electricity prices are rising where Bosniaks live, federal government is ineffective, HDZ's dominance is increasingly evident!

(Patria) - It is absolutely unacceptable and there are no words to describe the injustice that the price of electricity is increasing only in that part of the Federation of BiH where Bosniaks constitute a large majority of the population, stated the Vice-President of SDA and delegate in the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament, Muamer Zukić, for the News Agency Patria (NAP).

- We do not want to count the bloodlines of our citizens and we would like there to be one power utility operating in the Federation, as well as in the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where the rights and obligations of users would not be affected by factors such as where someone lives or what their nationality is - Zukić points out.

Unfortunately, he adds, the tendency to put Bosniaks in a disadvantageous position is a reality during the current federal government.

- This is certainly a result of the fact that the government, composed of the Trojka and HDZ, was appointed by outvoting Bosniaks and still acts against the will of the majority of Bosniak delegates in the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation - for the first time since Bosnia and Herzegovina has been organized in this way - Zukić states.

He briefly commented on yesterday's session of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH.

- All laws that were proposed within the agenda were withdrawn from this session of the House of Peoples as well. I do not think that the responsibility in this case lies with the Speaker Martinović, but it does lie with the current government - primarily the FBiH Government, but also with the parliamentary majorities.

The current federal government clearly has a problem with efficiency, which is also reflected in the work of the parliamentary majority in the House of Peoples of the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina - Zukić emphasizes.

At yesterday's session, he had several delegate questions, one of which concerns the attendance record of the federal Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić at the sessions of the House of Peoples.

- Prime Minister Nikšić has not been present at any session of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation for a long time. Throughout this mandate, he has rarely attended sessions, mostly at the beginning when the media are present in the parliamentary hall.

The answer to my delegate question will officially confirm the level of attendance, or absence. Such an approach indicates either a misunderstanding of the Prime Minister's role and the relationship between the legislative and executive branches, which is less likely, or it is actually another indicator that the head of the executive branch of the Federation is not doing his job properly - Zukić is of the opinion.

Besides Nikšić, ministers are also not frequent attendees at the FBiH Parliament sessions - only a few. Zukić sought the same information for them yesterday.

- Existing regulations are a more than sufficient normative framework for the FBiH Government to perform its duties optimally, including in terms of its relationship with the Parliament.

However, given the demonstrated lack of seriousness of some ministers, there is clearly a need to further regulate the Government's obligations towards the Parliament, including the attendance of executive branch representatives at sessions of the House of Peoples, its parliamentary clubs, and working bodies - says Zukić.

Finally, he stated that he believes the current federal government is characterized by actions that are mostly ineffective, often superficial, with many overly liberal and populist moves, along with a commitment to significant borrowing.

- Of course, such a policy worries citizens. In a political sense, the dominance of HDZ is evident, with a constant shift of the boundary to the detriment of the political interests of the Bosniak people in the Federation - Zukić concluded in his conversation with NAP.
