Ćazim Huskić new Chairman of the ZDK Assembly

(Patria) - Ćazim Huskić from SDA is the new Chairman of the Assembly of the Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDK), decided at today's emergency session of this legislative body.

He confirmed this for Faktor, the president of the Cantonal Board of SDA ZDK, Miralem Galijašević.

Also, a conclusion was passed that within 48 hours, i.e., on Wednesday, a session will be held to vote on (no) confidence in the current Government.

By all accounts, the removal of the Government is certain, since today's vote showed that the new majority, consisting of SDA, DF, NES, SBB, and three independent representatives, is stable.

They have 20 votes in the ZDK Assembly, and all today's decisions were made with 20 votes "for".

The name of the new mandate-holder of the Government is not yet known.

The new majority was formed after the collapse of the old one and internal turmoil, first between the SDP and the Bh. Initiative - Kasumović Fuad, but also intra-party tensions.

That "collapsed" majority also included DF and NES, who entered the new one, as well as HDZ, NiP, and Our Party.

Representatives of the new majority signed a document entitled "Programmatic Principles of Partnership Action 2023-2026."
