Unnecessary maneuvering by the Peace Implementation Council: Instead of a meeting with the "Trojka", come out and prove you will preserve peace or that we should start preparing

In a completely misguided manner, the Steering Board of the Peace Implementation Council decided today to awaken from its deep lethargy. With a quartz heater, the key people involved in the business of preserving peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina discussed the state of the country with the most irrelevant political formation.

The statement from the Social Democratic Party shows the complete irrelevance of a meeting of partners where some dictate, and others listen and execute.

Talking with the "Trojka" about the political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with an emphasis on the dialogue between domestic and international actors to overcome political, economic, and security challenges, is like talking to kindergarten children about their parents and the nannies who raise them.

The empty rhetoric that the "Trojka" has spread through words about red lines directed at the PIC Steering Board is just for the sake of the statement's impact, because the "Trojka" has no red lines to present to the PIC, but rather to Dodik and Čović.

And how purposeful the meeting in the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH is, is shown by Dodik's message from Russia, where he announces that Republika Srpska will build a Chinese wall where it "borders" Bosniaks, because they do not want to share even the air with them.

At the same time, the "Trojka's" yesterday's collapse before the HDZ in the House of Peoples of the Federation best shows that the red lines are at the bottom of the abyss dug as a space into which the HDZ and SNSD will push Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Therefore, I ask again - why is there no extraordinary session of the PIC Steering Board in a situation where the most severe crisis since Dayton to date is escalating into a potential conflict?

Why is there no extraordinary session of the PIC, while EUFOR is amassing forces and weapons: Perhaps they are preserving peace, but what about the fate of Bosnia?

These extraordinary sessions were either the result of decisions by the authorities in Republika Srpska or the need to respond to crises that threaten

Is this behavior of the key factors of the international community in Bosnia and Herzegovina a product of the complete division of European and American policies regarding the Balkans and Bosnia.

The traditionally indolent and slow Europeans are further slowed down by the elections in the EU and the war in Ukraine, but also by the fact that most of their officials are very sensitive to Balkan corruptive methods.

Washington's attempts to establish a new way of controlling the Balkans have proven to be poor, and as nervousness grew within the US about the future and presidential elections, American moves in the Balkans seem to have become more erroneous. However, neither Biden's nor Trump's policies have shown the determination to decisively and permanently extinguish the Balkan flames, so the crisis has returned each time in a worse form.

And yes, we, the citizens and the public of Bosnia and Herzegovina, are not asking the Steering Board of the PIC to resolve the issues of Bosnia and Herzegovina's future with an extraordinary session. We demand and expect from them a session where they will clearly, factually, and with evidence answer the question: can they preserve peace in a whole, internationally recognized, independent Bosnia and Herzegovina?

If they cannot, will not, or have no interest in doing so, they are obliged to inform the citizens of a country that has been at war since 1991 and, as time goes by, thanks to that international community, is losing even what it defended by stopping the aggression of much stronger enemies.

Therefore, if the PIC Steering Board does not hold a session within the next 10 days and present a clearly defined plan for preserving peace in internationally recognized Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is their mandate, then this should be considered an open message to all patriotic forces to more strongly prepare for the defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Because, without defined steps from the PIC Steering Board, everything else they serve us as a guarantee of the state's survival is a child's rattle that lessens crying but does not solve the problem. In that case, all of us who love Bosnia and Herzegovina as our homeland have an obligation to view all these movements of EUFOR's equipment, armaments, and soldiers differently. It has been whispered for too long that they are the trump card of secessionist policies, which could very easily become Dodik's "Chinese wall" between the Federation of BiH and Republika Srpska.

Diplomatic babbling with a political project that diplomacy itself created, without two disruptive factors, is a mere deception and trap for patriotic forces. At the beginning of the war, for which we are still fighting for air, they convinced us and made plans, and we woke up in burning buildings, destroyed hospitals, and barricades on the streets.

The PIC, the OHR, and the EU have played with the fate of this country for too long. And therefore, we have no right, not even a fraction, to trust them because they have shown that the policy of the stronger or the one who shouts the loudest and creates problems applies to them.

If we do not see a change in the next ten days, it is clear what we must do, so that we are not surprised again by the beginning of an armed conflict in a war that has been going on for much longer!
