Annalena Baerbock met with members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina

(Patria) - German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina for an official visit in the evening.

At Sarajevo International Airport, she was welcomed by a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of BiH, along with the German Ambassador to BiH, Thomas Fitschen.

Baerbock then immediately proceeded to the Presidency building of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where she was welcomed by the members of the collective head of state – Željko Komšić, Denis Bećirović, and Željka Cvijanović.

So far, only Bećirović has commented on the meeting with Baerbock, stating that he spoke with one of BiH's greatest friends this evening.

"I am immensely grateful to her for her well-intentioned human and statesmanship messages," Bećirović stated on his Facebook profile.

Baerbock is scheduled to meet with High Representative Christian Schmidt, and her official meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH, Elmedin Konaković, is planned for tomorrow.
