(Patria) - The U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo issued a statement on the X platform after the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament earlier today adopted amendments to the Law on the Southern Interconnection.

The Embassy stated that this is another big step for the energy future of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"The House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament today overwhelmingly adopted amendments to the Law on the Southern Interconnection.

We are another step closer to a U.S. investor bringing reliable gas supplies to BiH.

Energy security brings economic growth, jobs, and new business opportunities for BiH," the Embassy stated in its post on X.
