Will Zvizdić initiate the dismissal of Matanović and Suljagić as early as tomorrow?

A session of the Council of Ministers of BiH is to be held in Sarajevo tomorrow, and it is currently unknown whether the Chairman Denis Zvizdić will initiate the dismissal of DF Minister of Transport and Communications Slavko Matanović and Deputy Minister of Defence Emir Suljagić as early as tomorrow, writes the Patria News Agency.

The Office of the Council of Ministers states that a special procedure is necessary for this, but the Law on the Council of Ministers is clear and the dismissal of ministers and deputies is initiated by the chairman, and this is subsequently confirmed by the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

The session of the House of Representatives of the PSBiH is scheduled for November 24, so it is expected that Matanović and Suljagić will be dismissed at that session, and people from SBB will be appointed.

However, the option of convening an extraordinary session is not excluded, which would change the composition of the Council of Ministers and thus the parliamentary majority at the state level.

Otherwise, at tomorrow's session, ministers will discuss the Draft Law on the Budget of Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and International Obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2016, as well as the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Salaries and Benefits in Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
