Zvizdić: 16 'Ravnogorski' Associations Registered in RS

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Denis Zvizdić, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, said after today's session that Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted a decision to introduce the 4G network.

Operators are obliged to cover at least 90 percent of the territory and 98 percent of key routes in BiH, pay fees in the amount of 17.5 million KM in five equal installments in the period 2019-2023, and the budget will ultimately receive around 300.8 million KM over the next five years. Annually, at the disposal of the Council of Ministers, i.e., the budget of institutions, will be 23.7 million KM per license name.

"Proposal for an agreement on reducing roaming prices: On February 26, the Council of Ministers gave prior consent to signing the Agreement on reducing roaming prices - at that time, we tasked the relevant ministry to try to position BiH in the most optimal way, based on the request submitted by telecom operators at the time, but they changed their stance - July 1, 2019. We adopted the proposal for the agreement and forwarded it to the Presidency of BiH for final consideration. If and when the Presidency accepts it, the agreement should be signed at the Digital Summit in Belgrade in April this year," said Zvizdić.

Prices in the first phase are reduced by 80 percent, and by 2021 they will be completely abolished in the territory of the Western Balkans. After that, we move on to reducing roaming with EU member states, Zvizdić emphasized.

Zvizdić also spoke about migrants, stating that 99 percent of migrants in BiH are registered. The Council of Ministers of BiH made a decision to take over the management of accommodation capacities for migrants, with international organizations such as IOM continuing to provide funding.

Speaking about the gathering of Chetniks on Sunday in Višegrad, he pointed out that 16 associations bearing the name "Ravnogorski" are registered in the RS.

"We will initiate all activities, in accordance with criminal laws, and prevent any further spread and manifestation of religious hatred, as we saw yesterday in Višegrad, a place where we witnessed numerous crimes in the last war. These were not messages of peace, coexistence, tolerance that would improve reconciliation and cooperation. Such associations should be banned, and we expect that from the institutions and representatives of the RS, as a step of respecting the victims who were killed by people," said Zvizdić.
