Zvizdić in Davos discusses with Zaev

(Patria) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Zvizdić is attending the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, which this year gathers about 3,500 participants, 65 heads of state and government, and about 40 leaders of international organizations.

The Council of Ministers of BiH announced that Chairman Zvizdić attended an informal gathering of world economic leaders today, "The Peak or a Turning Point for Europe?", which discussed the need to strengthen the EU and define the European Union's foreign policy priorities.

The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH attended the address by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who, among other things, emphasized that one of the UN's goals will be to improve the capacity of less developed member states that need encouragement and assistance to attract better investments and improve their economic development.

Chairman Zvizdić also attended the panel New Impulses for Europe, with panelists including the Prime Ministers of Poland, the Netherlands, Spain, and European Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström, as well as the address by Austrian Federal Chancellor Sebastian Kurz.

On the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, Chairman Zvizdić met with Prime Minister of Macedonia Zoran Zaev and congratulated him on the success achieved regarding the name change of his country. He said that the citizens of Macedonia have chosen the right path leading them towards the EU and NATO alliance.

Chairman Zvizdić met with Marjan Šarec, Prime Minister of Slovenia, and they confirmed the continuation of good cooperation between the two countries.

This year's World Economic Forum is scheduled to hold about 350 sessions, and participants will, as announced, discuss a wide range of topics, from the global economy to the climate crisis.
