Zvizdić Ignores BiH Parliament's Request: Prime Minister Did Not Survey MPs' Support

Denis Zvizdić, the Prime Minister of BiH, is not collecting or seeking signatures from MPs of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, despite an adopted conclusion of the House of Representatives of the BiH PA proposed by Sadik Ahmetović (Independent Bloc), Patria reports.

According to the conclusion, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Denis Zvizdić, is tasked with collecting signatures from MPs whose support he has in his work by the next session of the House of Representatives, in order to determine the status of the Council of Ministers of BiH in the future. That next session is being held tomorrow, September 20, but this item is not on the agenda.

The Patria agency learns from several MPs that Zvizdić has not even requested signatures, and new initiatives on a similar basis are reportedly expected tomorrow.

Otherwise, most SDA MPs were against this conclusion, but Šemsudin Mehmedović, an MP in the SDA Club, supported it.

The fact that this conclusion was adopted itself indicates how many support signatures the Prime Minister would be able to collect with the "job of a surveyor." Incidentally, this is the first time such a request has been made to the Prime Minister.

Ahmetović said that Parliament must receive answers to the questions of whether there is a majority or not, and that further steps should be determined. He also said that perhaps Zvizdić is not solely to blame for all the shortcomings within his jurisdiction.

- Perhaps those who hold political power in this country are to blame. Who meet in cafes and various other locations, who have brought this country into a schizophrenic situation where we don't know how we will get out of this - said Ahmetović.
