Zvizdić: Sanctions are a good tool for cooling hot heads

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Zvizdić commented on the introduction of sanctions against member of the Presidency of BiH Milorad Dodik.

"What the international community failed to achieve in BiH in the last 7 months with polite approaches and reasoned dialogue, it managed to achieve with sanctions in 15 days.

Sanctions, both imposed and announced, are a very effective tool for cooling hot heads and achieving solutions beneficial for BiH," Zvizdić wrote on Twitter.

We remind you that the United States of America imposed sanctions on Milorad Dodik, member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Alternativna televizija Banja Luka, and former president of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milan Tegeltija, and the president of the Democratic Movement Party (PDA) and representative in the Parliamentary Assembly, Mirsad Kukić, were also placed on the list due to their involvement in significant corrupt activities.
