Zvizdić: This is not a transfer of competencies, this is a dismantling of the constitutional order

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Zvizdić believes that it is wrong to use the term "returning transferred competencies" in public discourse.

“It is correct to say “usurpation of the competencies of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina”, because the BiH Constitution provides for the possibility of establishing additional competencies, but does not provide for any procedure for returning them,” Zvizdić said.

He added that the Armed Forces, OSA, SIPA, UIO, the Court and the Prosecutor's Office of BiH are state institutions established by law, and that everyone has the right to propose different legal solutions in the PSBiH, but no one in BiH has the right to establish parallel institutions.

“Therefore, what is happening is “dismantling the legal order”, not “transfer of competencies”. Dismantling the BiH Constitution is dismantling the Dayton Agreement. The idea of a so-called “independent RS within BiH” is a dismantling of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of BiH,” Zvizdić emphasized.

Therefore, he concluded, there is no option of “peaceful secession”. There is only the option of full protection of the internationally recognized state of BiH. This is clear to everyone who knows the situation in BiH and the region, said Zvizdić, as announced by the PSBiH.
