Zvizdić and Terzić: Importance of continuing highway construction, not a single meter built in the last four years

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH (PSBiH) Denis Zvizdić and Director of JP Autoceste FBiH Adnan Terzić met today and discussed the current and future dynamics of Corridor Vc highway construction. They jointly stated that the Corridor Vc highway, as part of the pan-European corridor connecting BiH with Central Europe, is the most important infrastructure project that will significantly improve the economic development and competitiveness of BiH.

"Satisfaction was expressed with the engagement of state institutions so far in cooperation with international financial institutions, the efficient securing of necessary financial resources, as well as their final ratification. This has enabled work on the realization of numerous sections, of which seven are under construction, while four are in the final stage of preparation for the start of works, which speaks to the commitment of JP Autoceste FBiH to realizing the strategic goal of Corridor Vc highway construction.

The importance of continuing highway construction to the north was also highlighted, especially on the section from Poprikuše to Medakovo, i.e., Putnikovo brdo, which would significantly increase the overall operational functionality of the Corridor Vc highway. Chairman Zvizdić expressed full commitment to the importance of infrastructure construction, especially the Corridor Vc highway, as well as the necessity of faster ratification of all financial agreements related to the overall infrastructure construction on Corridor Vc," the Parliament announced.

Otherwise, the devastating fact is that not a single meter of highway was built in FBiH during the previous four-year term.
