Zvizdić and Šarović at EBRD Conference in London

LONDON, (Patria) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Zvizdić and Deputy Chairman and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mirko Šarović will participate today in London in the Third Investment Conference on the Western Balkans, organized by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

A session of the Western Balkan premiers is scheduled for the morning, following the official opening of the conference and welcoming addresses by EBRD President Suma Chakrabarti, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, and UK Minister for International Development Lord Bates.  

A meeting between Zvizdić and EBRD President Suma Chakrabarti is planned. On that occasion, Deputy Chairman and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mirko Šarović and EBRD Deputy Director Pierre Heilbronn will sign a memorandum of understanding between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the EBRD. The memorandum concerns the intensification of cooperation in providing support for the initiative to strengthen the investment climate in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On the sidelines of the conference, Zvizdić will meet with Acting U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs Matthew Palmer.

During his stay in London, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Zvizdić, together with the Western Balkan premiers, will attend a gala dinner organized by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Theresa May, the Public Relations Service of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
