Zvizdić and Goldstein: Future cooperation between BiH and the World Bank discussed

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdić discussed the implementation of current projects and future cooperation between BiH and this international financial institution in Sarajevo today with the World Bank Director for Southeast Europe Ellen Goldstein, reports the Patria News Agency.

Zvizdić informed Director Goldstein about the current political and economic situation in BiH. Speaking about the meeting with entity prime ministers and representatives of the international community, held on Saturday in Teslić, where the text of the reform economic agenda was agreed upon, Chairman Zvizdić said that there are no more contentious issues and that he hopes for the swift adoption of the agenda.

They also discussed the Development Policy Loan (DPL) program for improving the business environment, which is expected to be approved at the session of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament, as well as the reform of the healthcare sector. They emphasized that the reform of the healthcare sector is one of the domestic priorities where the World Bank can provide significant assistance.

The meeting was also attended by Tatjana Proskurjakova, Head of the World Bank Office for BiH and Montenegro, it was announced from the Council of Ministers of BiH.
