Zvizdić congratulates March 1: I call for determination and patriotism to overcome obstacles

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdić congratulated the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina on March 1, Independence Day.

- 26 years ago we expressed our will for freedom and equality, ideals that through the turbulent history of our homeland have never left the hearts of Bosnians and Herzegovinians. On March 1, 1992, we decided to build an independent state of free and equal people and in the most difficult moments of our homeland's history showed courage and determination to persevere on that path.

Today, by submitting the answers to the EC Questionnaire, we have completed one of the most complex processes on the European path of our country. We have made a step forward to soon obtain candidate status and shown our European friends that we have the credibility, will and knowledge to become part of democratic Europe.

I call on you today to show the same will, determination and patriotism, not to look at what others are doing but to let our work and commitment be an example to others, so that we can overcome the remaining obstacles on the European path as quickly as possible and ensure stability, security and a better life for our children in our common homeland Bosnia and Herzegovina - reads the congratulatory message from the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdić.
