Zvizdić: Unconstitutional habit of RS leads to new tensions and legal anarchy

(Patria) - The rule of law is a basic principle of functioning of all democratic countries. The unconstitutional habit of the BiH entity Republika Srpska to interfere in the exclusive competencies of the state of BiH, acting as the supreme arbiter and interpreter of all constitutions and laws, represents a classic example of arrogant disregard for existing laws, which leads to new tensions and legal anarchy, said Denis Zvizdić, Chairman of the PD PSBiH.

"For who knows how many times, before the domestic and especially international public, an attempt is being made to introduce an inadmissible, illegal and unconstitutional practice of achieving goals through the anti-democratic principle of institutional blockades and blackmail, although, based on previous practice, it is clear to everyone that such an approach cannot lead to any positive solution. 

The functioning of the political-legal system on the principles of the rule of law is a principle that must not be violated and a line below which one must never go, under any blackmail. 

I call on the representatives of the entity Republika Srpska to get serious and not to block the work of institutions, which will cause great damage. I call on them to start working on the European and reform path and on activities that will be beneficial for all citizens of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina," said Zvizdić.
