Zukić and Fazlagić ordered one-month detention

Amir Zukić, Secretary General of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), and his driver Seid Fazlagić have been ordered one-month detention by the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, upon the proposal of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office, Azra Bavčić, spokesperson for the KS Prosecutor's Office, confirmed to NAP.

Detention for the suspect Zukić was proposed due to the danger of influencing witnesses, concealing evidence, and the danger of committing criminal offenses again, while detention for the suspect Fazlagić was proposed due to the danger of committing criminal offenses again.

Both Zukić and Fazlagić were arrested as a continuation of the Bosna operation, during which Esed Džananović, director of distribution at Elektroprivreda BiH, Safet Bibić, Ramiz Karavdić, Nedžad and Senad Trako were arrested in August 2016.

The KS Prosecutor's Office accuses the five suspects of organizing a group and, using their influence, employing people in public enterprises, healthcare, and higher education institutions in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina by demanding and receiving money or other benefits.
