Zukić: SDA is not against the USA, we can only be against wrong political moves by individuals

(Patria) - SDA is not against the USA! And no matter how many times certain media repeat this phrase, it will not become true, stated SDA Delegate in the House of Peoples of the Federation Parliament Muamer Zukić.

"We can only be against wrong political moves by individuals, regardless of where they come from or who they are. There is no argument that will justify the suspension of a country's constitution for one day, just so someone can be in power or be removed from power. Whoever is behind that individual act has not only harmed Bosnia and Herzegovina but has also struck a blow to democracy in general.

If we were to survey intellectuals, politicians, or even all US citizens by asking them that question - I believe that 99% of them would be against suspending a country's constitution for one day just so some parties could form a government.

Who will succeed Džeko? Not because Džeko owns Bosnia and Herzegovina and its national football team, nor because he is a sultan or a king, but because he is the captain and leader of our national team. The question is also who from the younger generations will succeed our famous actors, intellectuals, ulema...? In our Bosnian language, that is how it is said. Those who come next succeed those who were before them in their professions.

The term 'legacy' is a form of respect for those who were before us, because we are not starting from scratch. Previous generations have their achievements, and we are actually continuing on their path, and it is a kind of trust that we carry as a 'legacy'. Ultimately, we are talking about a universal human value - we have inherited civilization from previous generations and we leave it as a legacy to our descendants," said Zukić.

He added that Bakir did not inherit the SDA from his father, because after the late Alija, Tihić came to lead the Party!

"And Bakir will be succeeded by someone in the future, in the sense that they will continue to lead and improve the SDA. That's how it goes... The SDA, which is so attacked, is a political entity under whose flag Bosniaks revived as a political nation, and Bosnia and Herzegovina began its journey as an independent state. The SDA primarily politically led our people in defense against military aggression in the 90s. The SDA still gathers the most Bosniaks today and actually represents their political unity and their political strength. The SDA is the backbone of the pro-Bosnian bloc. And I believe if, conditionally speaking, things get tough - almost all patriots of this country will be with the SDA and support the SDA.

Therefore, we will protect it and make it even stronger, regardless of all internal and external attacks.
