Zubac continues removing Bosniaks: Suspended Vahid Alagić as well!

Goran Zubac, director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), continues to remove Bosniaks from leadership positions in this institution, the Patria news agency has learned. Zubac became particularly angry after an investigation was launched against him by order of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, and he is suspected of failing to act during protests in the Federation of BiH, which led to attacks on BiH institutions, causing significant material damage and the burning of the BiH Presidency building.

The latest to feel Zubac's wrath is Vahid Alagić, head of the Witness Protection Department in SIPA, who has been suspended due to a complaint from a police officer, NAP has learned. This is just a continuation of Zubac's retaliation against dissidents and Bosniaks in SIPA. As our source reveals, the reign of terror in SIPA has grown so much that individuals are even afraid to greet Bosniaks in this institution.

- It is true about Alagić. The man took it very hard, and the disciplinary bodies in SIPA no longer have any function, because everything is done as Zubac says. His word is final. It was all rigged - that police complaint and Alagić's suspension - said our source.

Incidentally, Alagić also served as deputy director of the BiH Border Police, from which he was removed due to alleged war crimes in Konjic, but the investigation into this case was halted by the then deputy state prosecutor and head of the War Crimes Department, David Schwendiman, in 2009. During that time, Alagić was literally without income, and according to our source from SIPA, Zubac will not stop here.

While Zubac, who is also under investigation, is swiftly removing Bosniaks from SIPA, the Independent Board of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly remains silent. However, this does not surprise those familiar with the situation, because the board is headed by Žiko Krunić, for whom Zubac personally gave recommendations.

We recall that before Alagić, Zubac prioritized the removal of Mirsad Vilić, commander of the SIPA Special Unit, and had even formed a special team aimed at discrediting Vilić. Nevertheless, Vilić emerged victorious, as he was appointed director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies.
