Zubac "rewards" loyalists: Chetnik officially deputy commander

Goran Zubac, director of SIPA, who is accused of dereliction of duty and is on trial before the Court of BiH for dereliction of duty, continues with his arbitrary actions when it comes to managing this state police agency.

According to the findings of the BiH news agency Patria, Zubac has decided to reward his loyalist Jovica Mirosavljević Chetnik again.

We remind that Chetnik was suspended by the former director of SIPA, Mirko Lujić, for posing with Chetnik symbols. However, the suspension was lifted at the moment Zubac was appointed head of SIPA. He then removed Enes Karić from the position of deputy commander of JSP and reinstated Mirosavljević.

The decision on the appointment of Chetnik to the position of deputy commander of the Special Support Unit of SIPA (currently acting deputy) is already on his desk. It is only a matter of days when it will be officially announced that the man against whom pre-investigation proceedings are being conducted for war crimes at the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo has been promoted.

Zubac was already sharply criticized by the international community six months ago for appointing Mirosavljević as acting deputy. Assistance in equipment for SIPA amounting to KM 800,000 is still pending, precisely because of this move by the director of SIPA, who publicly stated in front of witnesses that he "doesn't care about that help, if they want to give it, let them give it".

However, Zubac will not stop only at the promotion of Mirosavljević, who did not pass the necessary security checks to even lead SIPA's elite unit.

Another of his loyalists will be rewarded. This is Mario Kapetanović, a compromised inspector in the Center for War Crimes Research. Zubac has decided to promote Kapetanović to the position of deputy head of this center, no more and no less.

The Department for Internal Control of SIPA has filed several disciplinary charges against Kapetanović, and there is also a criminal complaint filed for taking bribes.

Despite all these facts, Zubac decided to reward his closest associates. Mirosavljević for his prominent role in the arrest operations of the President of the Federation of BiH Živko Budimir and state representative Šemsudin Mehmedović.

He brought both of them to the SIPA building with handcuffs on. Kapetanović "earned" his promotion also in the "Mehmedović" case because he led the operation of his apprehension.
