Air polluted in Sarajevo, Tuzla, Zenica, rain and snow in the mountains over the weekend

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - According to measurements at 8 PM, the air in Sarajevo, Tuzla, Zenica, Lukavac, and Živinice is polluted. In Sarajevo, the air quality index is 167, and the PM10 particle value is 107, and the air is rated unhealthy.

"Possible exacerbation of symptoms and intensity of diseases in people with heart and respiratory diseases, such as asthma. All others could begin to feel the negative impact of pollution on their health.
The following groups should reduce any outdoor physical activity: people with lung and heart conditions, pregnant women, children, and the elderly. Prolonged or strenuous exertion outdoors should also be avoided by everyone else."

In Tuzla, the air quality index is 249, and the PM2.5 particle value is 239.

"Significant exacerbation of symptoms and intensity of diseases is possible in people with respiratory illnesses such as asthma. Increased likelihood of negative consequences for the respiratory organs of the entire population!
People with lung and heart diseases, pregnant women, children, and the elderly must avoid any activities outdoors. And everyone else should avoid prolonged or strenuous exertion outdoors," according to the warning on the Ekoakcija website.

On the first day of the weekend, it is expected to be mostly cloudy in Herzegovina, and in the western and northwestern parts of Bosnia. In the rest of our country, it will be sunny with moderate cloudiness. Fog or low clouds are possible in valleys and along river courses. In the evening, light rain is possible in some northwestern areas, and sleet in the mountainous regions. Wind will be light to moderate, occasionally increasing from the south. Morning temperature from 0 to 6 degrees Celsius, in the south from 5 to 9, and the highest daily temperature from 9 to 15, up to 17 degrees Celsius in the south and northwest.

In Sarajevo, it will be moderately cloudy, and overcast in the afternoon and evening. Morning temperature around 0 degrees Celsius, and the highest daily temperature around 10 degrees Celsius.

On Sunday, cloudy weather with rain is expected, and snow in the mountains. In the afternoon, the skies will clear with temperatures up to 17 degrees Celsius.
