
(Patria) - According to this morning's measurements, the air in Sarajevo is polluted and unhealthy, and citizens are recommended to stay indoors. The air quality index is 158, and pollutants PM2.5 and PM10 are present in the air.
"Possible exacerbation of symptoms and intensity of diseases in people with heart and respiratory diseases, such as asthma. All others could begin to feel the negative impact of pollution on their health.
The following groups should reduce any outdoor physical activity: people with lung and heart diseases, pregnant women, children, and the elderly. Prolonged or strenuous exertion during outdoor activities should also be avoided by everyone else," it is stated.
