KNOWLEDGE Prof. Dr. Faris Gavrankapetanović Defends Second Doctoral Dissertation

(Patria) - Professor Dr. Faris Gavrankapetanović recently defended his doctoral dissertation in management at IEDC Bled in Slovenia.

IEDC – Bled School of Management is one of the few management and educational institutions that holds NAKVIS, AMBA, and IQA international certifications. This is the second doctorate of Prof. Gavrankapetanović, who earned his first doctorate in 1999 at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sarajevo.

Gavrankapetanović defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic ‘ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE AND AFFECTIVE COMMITMENT IN A LEARNING ORGANIZATION: MANAGING LARGE HOSPITALS IN TRANSITIONAL ECONOMIES’.

He presented his second doctoral dissertation before a committee consisting of Assist. Prof. Nina Bandelj as Internal Examiner (University of California), Prof. Eric Guthey as External Examiner (Copenhagen Business School), Prof. Arnold Walravens as Internal Examiner (IEDC), Assoc. Prof. Drikus Kriek as Chair of the Defence Committee (IEDC), Prof. Danica Purg as Member of the Defence Committee (IEDC), and Prof. Stephanie Jones as Mentor (Maastricht Business School).
