Criminal Karadžić wrote to the UN Security Council: The Hague wronged both me and the entire Serb people

Hague indictee Radovan Karadžić sent an open letter to the presidents and prime ministers of the UN Security Council member states, reports the Patria News Agency.

The former president of Republika Srpska points to the injustice done to him during the proceedings before the Hague Tribunal.

As reported by RTRS, Karadžić draws attention to the mistakes made by that court in other proceedings as well, but also towards, as stated, the entire Serb people.

Karadžić proposes to the Security Council to establish a commission composed of legal experts to analyze the past practice of the Hague Tribunal and annul all arbitrary decisions and verdicts.

"There must be an authority above every court, with the jurisdiction to acquit the innocent and unjustly convicted," Karadžić stated in the open letter.

By the first-instance decision of the Hague Court, Karadžić was sentenced to 40 years in prison, and the reasoning for the verdict states that he is responsible for war crimes committed in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the genocide in Srebrenica.
