SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo, is a symbol of barbaric destruction and the longest siege in history that it survived in the 1990s during the aggression against our country.
The residents of Sarajevo felt that barbarism on their own skin, many lost their lives, others were wounded, and still others left the city forever.
The siege of Sarajevo and the crimes committed are still talked about, written about, and filmed.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson recalled the suffering and crimes against Sarajevans while commenting today on Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
"Prime Minister Boris Johnson compares today's shelling of Kharkiv by Russian troops to the shelling of Sarajevo by Serbs," Reuters journalist Suzana Starikov reports on Twitter.
"For me, it has that feeling of crime, deliberately committed against civilians," the British Prime Minister said.
We remind you, Ukraine is surviving the sixth day of Russian aggression today, and bombings and shelling are becoming more intense, and information about hit residential areas, hospitals, and kindergartens is becoming more frequent.
Tens of dead and hundreds of wounded are the current epilogue of Russian aggression.
