SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Assembly of Sarajevo Canton did not accept Zineta Bogunić's resignation from the position of Minister of Education, Science and Youth. The majority of deputies voted against her dismissal at today's session. Deputies from NiP, SDA, Damir Nikšić, DF abstained, SDP BiH, Our Party and part of SBB deputies voted to accept the resignation.
The Speaker of the KS Assembly Elmedin Konaković and the president of People and Justice, who delegated Bogunić as minister, asked the deputies not to accept her resignation and to leave her in that position.
During today's debate, harsh words were exchanged between Bogunić and Konaković, and it all resulted in People and Justice announcing that they will not support Bogunić's dismissal and are calling on her to continue her work. The accusations made today between Bogunić and Konaković will also have their judicial epilogue, and as Konaković announced, he will file a criminal complaint against himself.
