Zildžić: Government's amendments to the Law on Contributions are cosmetic, I submitted an amendment

(Patria) - SDA MP in the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, Salko Zildžić, on the eve of today's session, responding to media questions, commented on the Government's bill on amendments and supplements to the Law on Contributions, which he assessed as "cosmetic".

This was detrimental to the economy. As soon as that proposal was submitted to the parliamentary procedure, I submitted an amendment. If my amendment were adopted, contributions on the employers' side in the amount of 10.5 percent would be abolished, which would actually reduce the total contribution rate from 41.5 to 31.5 percent. This is a direct consequence of the FBiH Government increasing the minimum wage without reducing taxes. In the first two months, we have 6,800 fewer employees. The sooner they realize that they need to respect the demands of the protesting people, the sooner we will save what can be saved – said Zildžić.

Speaking about the agenda item related to elections and appointments, Zildžić pointed out violations of procedures and laws in the election of members of the Independent Board and the Management Board of FTV.
