Ziegler: Ustamujić is an example of young politicians' work in BiH

During a multi-day visit to European Union institutions in Brussels, where he met with numerous European officials, Democratic Front member Mirza Ustamujić had a meeting today with George Ziegler, Deputy Head of the Unit for Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Directorate-General for Enlargement of the European Commission, writes the Patria News Agency.

After a lengthy discussion, Ziegler emphasized "that he had a particular pleasure in talking with Ustamujić, and that he is an example of the work of young politicians in BiH".

- The meeting with a young politician like Ustamujić gives hope that the younger generation of politicians in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be able to overcome inter-ethnic and inter-party barriers to work together for the benefit of citizens and build a successful path for Bosnia and Herzegovina towards the European Union, Ziegler stated.

Ziegler was also a member of the European Commission delegation that conducted negotiations with BiH political leaders on the implementation of the "Sejdić-Finci" ruling, which was also discussed during today's meeting with Ustamujić.

Ustamujić also visited the BiH Mission to the European Union, where he spoke with Ambassador Igor Davidović.
