Wall of silence from the MUP KS and the Prosecutor's Office KS regarding the murder of a 19-year-old: The killer 'announced he would surrender'

It has been 16 hours since the murder of 19-year-old F.P. in Sarajevo's Otoka neighborhood, and there is a wall of silence from the MUP KS and the Prosecutor's Office KS.

The brutal murder occurred around midnight from Sunday to Monday at a busy intersection in the Otoka neighborhood.

During the morning, the MUP KS only confirmed the information that a murder had taken place. No official information about the attacker/participants/accomplices.

There is also silence from the Prosecutor's Office KS. The duty prosecutor led the investigation, issued the necessary orders, and then identification and determination of all circumstances of the murder followed, which has once again disturbed the citizens of Sarajevo.

Neither the Minister of the MUP, Admir Katica, nor the Prime Minister of KS, Nihad Uk, have made any statement. The trio that constitutes the government in KS has not reacted either. They have not sent a message of condolence to the family, nor a message to reassure the citizens of Sarajevo.

The information that the media receive from their sources only adds to the unrest. Both for the family of the murdered young man and for the citizens who follow the news with anxiety.

This is not the first murder in Sarajevo, but no one has the right to act as if this is a situation we should get used to. Because it is not normal for 19-year-olds to be killed and for there to be silence about it.

The circumstances under which the murder occurred have still not been officially confirmed. One young life has been lost, and the killer, according to media information, wants to surrender to the police authorities.
