Fierce debate between Špirić and Bećirović: Who is disturbing the peace in BiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Denis Bećirović, delegate in the Club of Bosniaks in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, proposed that the session discuss the decision from the RS that elected representatives from the RS do not decide in BiH institutions. His request was rejected, with the Club of Croats (except Zlatko Miletić) and the Club of Serbs (Mladen Bosić did not vote) voting against. The Club of Croats includes HDZ delegates, and the Club of Serbs includes SNSD and one SDS delegate.

Thus, on this point, the Club of Serbs still decided and participated in the work of the PD PSBiH. On all other points, they voted against, and everything was sent for further harmonization, such as the Law on Deposit Insurance in Banks and amendments to the Law on the Intelligence-Security Agency.

"Our task is the protection of vital national interests. I responsibly claim that for all three clubs, the vital interest is preserving peace. We are witnesses that in recent days, the president of SNSD is seriously threatening the peace process in BiH. He is not threatening the Constitutional Court of BiH or any other institution, but peace in BiH. We must not start the session without pointing this out.

Until now, he was moving on the path of the East and Russia; it is good that he turned towards Western Europe, unfortunately not towards Brussels, but towards The Hague," said Bećirović.

He proposed a new agenda item: "Information on the unconstitutional and anti-Dayton activities of Milorad Dodik against the Constitutional Court of BiH with a special impact on peace in BiH."

"I also submitted a proposal for an amendment to paragraph 6, so that the Constitutional Court has 12 members," added Bećirović.

Nikola Špirić, delegate in the Club of Serbs, responded and said that Milorad Dodik will not be an agenda item.

"A young man with so much hatred will not bring good to BiH. The Serbs also have a say here, as much as the other two clubs," said Špirić.

Bećirović said that the talk about hatred is a trick.

"My proposal is legitimate, and I have the right to propose that we change the Constitution of BiH, so that we have 6 judges proposed by the President of the European Court of Human Rights, and that we more strongly implement the judgments of the Court of Human Rights," said Bećirović.

Špirić said that Bećirović put one nation on the pillory, and that he expected him to ask what the problem of one nation is.

"You are young; you will understand that," said Špirić.
