University of Zenica promotes 369 first-cycle graduates, 62 master's and one doctor of science

(Patria) - The ceremonial promotion of graduates of the first, second and third cycles of study at the University of Zenica, held today at the City Arena “Husejin Smajlović” in Zenica, is the most important annual event for UNZE, emphasized the rector of that university, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Duraković.

- This is a ceremonial act, by which we promote 369 first-cycle graduates; 62 master's degree holders, i.e., second-cycle graduates, and one doctor of legal sciences, who has completed the third cycle. Today, this is a ceremonial act, so that our students who have acquired knowledge receive their diplomas and, in a way, we release them to the labor market and our social community to pursue their careers - said Rector Duraković, who emphasized that today they also promoted 33 doctors of medicine, which is a great asset for UNZE.

This is, he added, an opportunity to award the best students with the rector's charter, deans' charters, and deans' and rector's awards.

The rector's charter was awarded to first-cycle graduates Emina Rušidović, Fatma El-Fares, Ines Fetić-Muratović, Adil Arapović and Almin Musić, as well as second-cycle graduates Ajdin Bešić and Alena Mujčinović, while 39 first- and second-cycle graduates from eight UNZE faculties received deans' awards.

Faris Godinjak from Sarajevo is the only one this year to have earned the title of doctor of science at UNZE, i.e., doctor of legal sciences. Godinjak decided to enroll in the third cycle of study at the Faculty of Law of UNZE after completing the first cycle and earning a master's degree at the Faculty of Law in Sarajevo.

- I have been working for almost 15 years and have some work experience, but I wanted to improve myself in a specific field. When I wanted to enroll in the third cycle or doctoral studies, I looked for a university that could meet my needs, provide me with adequate knowledge and teaching staff - said Godinjak, who believes he did not make a mistake in deciding to complete his doctoral studies in Zenica.

The ceremony was also attended by the Ambassador of Indonesia to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Roem Kono.
