Zenica: Mothers protest, last four benefits not paid

Mothers who have not received four benefits are seeking their rights in front of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Government building in Zenica today, writes the BH News Agency Patria.

Benefits amounting to 80% of salary have not been paid for November, December, January, and February. People with disabilities from Zenica also provided them with support. In addition to mothers from Zenica, mothers from Visoko and Kakanj also came to the protests.

Otherwise, according to data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics, negative natural population growth is recorded, and in an already difficult economic situation, few decide to start a family. Even when they do decide, mothers are at a disadvantage, first when they get pregnant, and then in realizing their legal rights.
