A commemoration for the five killed miners began at 11 AM at the Bosnian National Theatre Zenica. At the beginning, a minute of silence and recitation of Fatiha paid tribute to the tragically deceased miners, writes the BH News Agency Patria.
The attendees were addressed by the director of RMU Zenica Esad Ćivić, Mehmed Oruč from the Zenica Mine union, Sinan Husić on behalf of the Federation of BiH union, general director of JP Elektroprivreda BiH Elvedin Grabovica, and the federal Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić. The miners who lost their lives in the Raspotočje mine are: Hajrudin Bradarac, Mehemed Dizdarević, Mehmedalija Halilović, Fahir Halač, and Fejzo Isaković.
Family members, friends, officials from all levels of government of the FBiH, and representatives of the Football Association of BiH attended the commemoration.
The funeral prayer for the killed miners will be held on the plateau of Kamberovića polje in the center of Zenica today at 2 PM. Afterwards, individual funeral prayers and burials will take place at the local cemeteries of Vrselje, Ponirak, Poratje, and Prašnice.
