Woman breaks arm at fountain in front of BBI Center: Management promises compensation

An increasing number of Sarajevans are experiencing unfortunate falls at the fountain in front of the BBI Center, reports the Patria News Agency. As we learned, a woman from Sarajevo (name known to the editorial office) recently literally crushed her elbow after slipping on moss that formed when the fountain was turned off.

This information was confirmed to us by the management of the BBI Center, who stated that they have received a complaint from a citizen. As revealed by the woman's family, the fall was so serious and the arm injuries so severe that the surgery lasted several hours, and she will have to wear a cast and fixators for several months.

The biggest problem is that this unfortunate woman is a hairdresser by profession, so her job is at risk.

- The management of the BBI Center is aware of one case of a fall at the fountain site on the Square. In this regard, after being informed of the incident, we informed the party about the procedure for submitting a claim for compensation to the insurance company. After the party provided us with all the necessary documentation, the claim was submitted to the insurance company - stated the BBI Center.

As they further stated, the fountain in front of the BBI Center, as well as the rest of the Square, is regularly maintained and cleaned by a contracted company responsible for cleanliness in and around the BBI Center.
