National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina Full of Visitors, Newlyweds Can Take Photos for 100 KM

The National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina reopened to the public on September 16th after three years, and since then, the interest of citizens and organized groups of tourists and students in visiting this cultural treasure of Bosnia and Herzegovina has not waned, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

Such an example was recorded this morning by a reporter from the BiH news agency Patria, who found two groups of students with their teachers in front of the Museum, who brought the children to learn about the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina in this way as well.

Throughout its existence, the National Museum in Sarajevo has managed to collect a significant part of the cultural and national heritage of the country and all its peoples. The exhibits are divided into departments (archaeological, ethnological, and natural sciences) into several different collections (folkloric, numismatic, natural history, prehistoric, ancient, and others), and the most significant museum exhibit is the famous Sarajevo Haggadah, a traditional Jewish book, which the Sephardim brought to Sarajevo after their expulsion from Spain.

Working Hours

The museum is open every day except Monday, with visiting hours on weekdays from 10 AM to 7 PM, and on weekends from 10 AM to 2 PM.
