
(Patria) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić visited the Srebrenica Memorial Center today to pay tribute to the victims of the genocide.
On this occasion, he also met with the employees of the Memorial Center, discussing current challenges, particularly in the context of the expected verdict in the Dodik and Lukić case. The discussion also covered the continuation of institutional support, security, and preparations for marking the 30th anniversary of the genocide.
Komšić also visited Nova Kasaba, where he met with Bosniak returnees in this local community.
This year, July 11, 2025, will mark 30 years since the genocide in Srebrenica in which 8,372 victims were killed.
