Railways of FBiH offer jobs to Gredelj workers from Dobosnica

The public company Railways of the Federation of BiH has offered workers of Gredelj Rewom from Dobošnica to start working at Railways of FBiH from November 1, said the Federal Minister of Transport and Communications Enver Bijedić, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Workers of Gredelj - Rewom d.o.o. Dobošnica, as is known, are victims of poor privatization and it is almost impossible to resolve property-legal relations since the majority owner of the company "Gredelj-Revom" from Dobošnica is the railway wagon factory - "Gredelj" from Zagreb, which is in bankruptcy. 

A solution for the Gredelj workers was sought at a meeting held at the end of September at the Federal Ministry of Transport and Communications, when it was decided that workers from this company would be transferred to the workshop in Rajlovac of Railways of FBiH, where they would remain until the workshop in Banovići is operational. At that time, it was planned that initially 30 to 40 Gredelj workers would move to the workshop in Rajlovac, and in the following period, the others who want and can work. 

A group of Gredelj workers protested at the beginning of this week in front of the Croatian Embassy in Sarajevo, demanding that the bankruptcy administrator of Zagreb's "Gredelj", which is the majority owner of the plant in Dobošnica, stop their agony. On that occasion, they said they are convinced that their company can be saved in a very short time because the necessary capacities exist for workers to continue working, but that good will is needed for that.
