Željezničar defeated Radnik, Borac recorded a victory against Rudar

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Željezničar defeated Radnik from Bijeljina 2-0 at Grbavica in the 17th round of the Premier League of BiH.

Radnik did not come to Grbavica to defend and the guests played quite openly for most of the match.

They had several solid attacks in the opening minutes, but lacked a proper finish.

Željezničar then took control of the game. In the 26th minute, Juričić tested Hodžić, who saved his shot.

The striker of the Blues had two more attempts towards the guests' goal by the end of the first half, but the teams went into halftime without goals.

The home team started the second half offensively, and in the 50th minute, they took the lead. Luka Juričić finally capitalized on an opportunity and, after a cross from Blažević, sent the ball into the net for a 1-0 lead.

After the goal was scored, the game calmed down. A long wait ensued for the next chance, and only in the 78th minute did the guests threaten through Motika, but he shot poorly from a good position.

Radnik then appealed for a penalty for a handball in the penalty area, but referee Grbić did not signal.

By the end of the match, Željezničar scored their second goal. Bekrić crossed, and Zdunić scored for a final result of 2-0.

In Banja Luka, Borac defeated Rudar Prijedor 1-0 at the City Stadium in Banja Luka in a 17th-round Premier League match.
