Željezničar defeated Balzan 1:0, thousands of Manijaci cheered the Blues

FK Željezničar played its second match against the Maltese club Balzan at Koševo in the first round of the Europa League. After a 2:0 victory in Malta, Željezničar was dominant again tonight. With a goal by Damir Sadiković in the 68th minute, Željo took the lead and it remained that way until the end of the match.

More than 6,000 fans of the popular Manijaci cheered the Blues at the Koševo stadium. The Blues will play their next match against Hungarian Ferencváros in the 2nd round of the Europa League.

Head of the professional staff of FK Željezničar, Milomir Odović, said that the Blues played a better match in Malta.

- It was simply difficult for me to make the players serious, they had it in their subconscious that they would have an easy match. Our players behaved relaxed, and that is the reason for the poorer performance. I thank the fans - Odović said.
