Zelensky: We put up fierce resistance, more and more Russians are fleeing back

(Patria) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation on Facebook.

"Every occupier must know that they will encounter fierce resistance from Ukrainians, such that they will remember forever that we will not give up," Zelensky said.

"We are a people who in seven days broke the enemy's plans. The plans that were built for years are vile, calculated, with hatred for our country, for our people, for every people that has two things: freedom and a heart. But we stopped their plan."

Our army, our border guards, our defense, even ordinary farmers capture the Russian army every day. And they all say only one thing - they do not know why they are here," Zelensky added.

"Despite the fact that there are ten times more of them, the enemy's morale is constantly deteriorating, more and more occupiers are fleeing back to Russia. From us, from you, from all those who drive the enemy - spears, thighs, rifles, tanks, planes, helicopters, everything that shoots," the Ukrainian president said. 

"We defeated the enemy without weapons. I sincerely admire the heroic civilians of Konotop, Bashtanka, Energodar, Melitopol and other cities and villages of Ukraine, who do not allow the occupiers to advance. Civilians block their roads, come out in front of enemy vehicles. This is very dangerous, but it is also extremely brave," Zelensky said.
