Healthcare workers from Konjic take to the streets, haven't received salaries since July

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Healthcare workers from Konjic have taken to the streets to express their dissatisfaction with the difficult situation they are in.

The protests are organized by the basic organization of the Independent Trade Union of Konjic. They are disappointed because they have not received their salaries since July.

They are fighting for their livelihood, and there is a possibility that their next salary will not be paid either. They say that taking to the street is the first step, and they blocked the M17 road for 15 minutes.

Union representatives said that if their demands are not resolved by tomorrow, if their accounts are not unblocked, they will completely block the M17 road. If their demands are still not resolved then, as a third step, they state that they will go to Mostar, past all healthcare institutions and the Tax Administration, and block those institutions.

Also, citizens are giving them great support, believing that they are the first who should have their rights and that conditions for normal work must be met for them.
