Due to weather conditions, landslides and earth on roads, caution needed while driving

Due to trampled snow on the roadway, traffic is slower on sections in the western and northwestern parts of our country.

BIHAMK warns drivers of frequent rock and earth landslides on the roadway, especially highlighting the sections: Konjic-Mostar-Doljani, Jablanica-Prozor, Jajce-Banja Luka, Sarajevo-Foča and Bugojno-Novi Travnik.

Vehicle frequency is of lower intensity, and increased traffic during the day is expected on roads leading to ski centers and winter excursion destinations.

We appeal for extremely cautious driving, adapted to road conditions, and remind that possession of winter equipment is legally mandatory.

On the A-1 motorway, traffic is using the passing lane on the Sarajevo west-Lepenica section due to an active landslide at the Ban Brdo site. Drivers are asked to drive more carefully and at reduced speed on this section of the motorway.

After the system in Croatia was restored to function, as well as better weather conditions, all categories of vehicles are now using the border crossings Izačić and Velika Kladuša.
