Due to high temperatures, travel in the morning or evening hours

Roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina are dry this morning, with good visibility. Due to high daytime temperatures, we recommend traveling in the morning or evening hours, warn BIHAMK, reports Patria.

On the A-1 highway, regular maintenance works are being carried out today on the Podlugovi-Visoko section. We ask drivers to reduce their speed on this section and to respect the temporarily installed traffic signals.

Due to mine clearance works, traffic is temporarily suspended for up to half an hour on the M-4.2 Velika Kladuša-Bihać main road (in Donji Purići from 8 AM to 4 PM), as well as on the R-465 regional road
Maglaj-Zavidovići (in Podborik, from 8:30 AM to 3 PM).

Today from 8 AM to 8 PM, traffic will be completely suspended on the R-471 Lukavac-Vijenac-Banovići regional road due to asphalting works. Passenger vehicles will use an alternative route (through Borovac), while buses on regular routes will be allowed through at 30 to 40-minute intervals.

There are no long waits at border crossings this morning. During the day, there is an increase in vehicle traffic at the Doljani border crossing, so we remind drivers that they can use the Ivanica, Trebimlja (Čepikuće), Zvirići,
Bijača, Crveni Grm, or Orahovlje border crossings, where waits are significantly shorter. Due to works in Croatia, traffic for trucks is banned at the Brčko-Gunja border crossing.
