Due to high traffic: 'Traitors' register website keeps crashing

After Croatian Veterans Minister Mijo Crnoja announced he would create a register of traitors and aggressors, the SKROZ collective created a website of 'traitors', reports the Patria news agency.

Mijo Crnoja's announcement was also supported by First Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Karamarko. In a short time, a thousand 'traitors' were already registered on the mentioned website, including opposition SDP official Peđa Grbin, who later stated on his FB profile that the reason he is a 'traitor' is because he is a 'Serb-Chetnik-unitarist-Ustasha-partisan criminal'.

Grbin says he neither intended nor planned to be entered into the register of traitors, and that he was convinced it would remain 'a marginal statement by a marginal person' and just 'an unimportant footnote in the history of absurd proposals that the Croatian political public has encountered'. 

'I was wrong. Oh, how wrong I was. Because the moment the proposer of such a register becomes a minister in the Government of the Republic of Croatia, when the parliamentary majority stands behind him, and then even the First Deputy Prime Minister, with the powers of deputy prime minister, Tomislav Karamarko supports such a register, then the issue of the register of traitors becomes a serious problem for democracy and the citizens of this country', Grbin stated. 

He, as reported by Index.hr, called on all citizens who disagree with such proposals and such conduct of politics to visit the Traitors Register website and join the list. 

The 'Traitors' register opened by the SKROZ collective became very popular overnight, with at least a thousand people signing up by morning. It seems that too many 'traitors' rushed the register at once, so the site is frequently unavailable.
