Džermin Pašić removed from head of Organized Crime Department due to suspicious Sky case dealings, transferred to War Crimes

Due to suspicion of abusing investigations in Sky cases, state prosecutor Džermin Pašić has been removed from his position as head of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption (POK) of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, Istraga.ba has learned. Pašić was one of the two deputy chief state prosecutors who managed this department, and he was formally the head of three sections within POK: the Section for Organized Crime, the Section for Terrorism, and the Section for Human Smuggling and Trafficking.

Pašić was dismissed on Friday, but, as Istraga has learned, he did not receive the Decision on dismissal, ordering his associates not to accept any documents until he was at work. Therefore, he was verbally informed of the dismissal. According to the Decision, Džermin Pašić has been assigned to the Department for War Crimes.

The Disciplinary Prosecutor's Office had previously opened a case against Džermin Pašić regarding the "notes" that Istraga wrote about. Due to the concealment of notes stating that he had accepted a bribe from members of the Škaljarski clan, the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has also opened a criminal case against state prosecutor Džermin Pašić.

Džermin Pašić, namely, hid two notes which stated that members of Sani Al Murda's criminal group, during their interrogation at the BiH Prosecutor's Office, in the presence of their lawyer, told him that they had given him, through lawyer Mirsad Crnovršanin, a total of about 1.5 million marks to have the "Start" case "finished".
