Due to the German airline Lufthansa, which is on strike as of today, Irish fans must seek alternative options to arrive in BiH for the BiH - Ireland match on November 13, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

The leading German air carrier has cancelled 290 flights, and the strike has begun at Frankfurt and Dusseldorf airports. Of these, 23 long-haul flights were cancelled, and more than 37,000 passengers are affected by the strike.

Given that there are no direct flights from Ireland to Sarajevo, fans have options to fly via Vienna or Frankfurt, and Lufthansa has urged passengers to check if their flight has been cancelled. Subsidiaries of this airline, Austrian Airlines, Germanwings, Eurowings, and Swiss, are not on strike.
