Temporary financing decision not adopted due to SNSD

(Patria) - The Council of Ministers of BiH did not adopt the Decision on temporary financing of institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and international obligations of BiH for the period April – June 2020 because consensus was not reached, in accordance with Article 18, Paragraph 2 of the Law on the Council of Ministers of BiH, with the obligation to apply Article 18, Paragraph 3 of this law in this case.

This refers to the part stating that "when calculating the majority prescribed in paragraph (3) of this article, the vote of the said deputy minister is counted, but it is not considered the vote of a member of any of the constituent peoples".

SNSD ministers voted against this decision. This decision enables the normal financing of state institutions during the period when the budget for this year has not been adopted.
